Ed Sheeran already treated his fans by performing two out of three of his new releases, but he killed them by bringing out a special guest which ended up being Stormzy tonight on the Brit Awards.

The guitarist from Suffolk acted as if he never left for a year at all. He was cool, calm and collective when performing the Castle on the Hill. We had people in the audience belting their hearts out while dancing along.

When Ed started singing Shape of You, you could instantly see how comfortable he was. He started to do a little dance and feel the music. It was almost as if this was his favourite song on his new album. It wasn't McStormzy came on stage that shocked every single person who is a fan of either of them.

The remix version gave the song more life than it already had. We had Stormzy bouncing around on stage and Ed smiling as he was rocking out. The audience at home and at the Brits were loving every second of the performance.

What melted everyone's heart was when the two shared an emotional hug at the end of the performance before swapping shirts backstage. Both artist ended up wearing the others latest album artwork.

But the love didn't stop there. Stormzy decided to tweed Ed Sheeran a thank you for letting him join him on stage. The tweet said: "One of the greatest days of my life thank you all love you all love you bro @edsheeran <3 <3 <3 #BRITs2017.

Ed did reply with: " Last night was so much fun. Love to @Stormzy1 for the performance. The official remix of shape of you is out at midnight tonight."

So that is two things we can look forward to on Friday morning. Stormzy's new album Gang Signs & Prayers and the official remix to Shape of You.
