PERFORMANCE REVIEW: Experimentalism, Surrealism and Minimalism
It's not everyday you go to a performance and not know what you are in for. But tonight I took the risk of either loving or hating this kind of performance.

In a small hall that could hold no more than 100 people, stood five young performers ready to show the crowd what they've been working on for the last few months. They stated from the word go that it would be an experience that we've never had before, and my gosh was they right.
Although the performance was different and interesting, some of the sounds that were used was not my cup of tea. It was strange. It was surreal. weird even.
The noise that was produced was uncomfortable, but that is what they wanted to achieve. They wanted the audience to feel something instead of just listening to them sing a song that they would later forget.
This kind of performance is for someone who enjoys the unknown and doesn't like listening to the same old music. If that is you, then this is the perfect thing for you to go to, but if that is not you then I suggest sticking to your favourite track and belt the words out.
